Muzine was designed to instigate curiosity and enable serendipitous interconnections between museums. It is intented to be accompagnied by a hardware device, which would scan exhibition objects (via QR codes or RFID) and query for similar objects on the Europeana API. The resulting souvenir, is a one-off “scroll” that merges texts and photographic materials related to the objects scanned, and others from collections available on Europeana.
